#YouTube is such a powerful resource! The right hand picture was from yesterday welding .062 6061 aluminum and I left my shop rather dejected. Not willing to give up, I referenced some of @weldingtipsandtrickspodcast (Jody) material on YouTube, made some minor adjustments, and the results speak for themselves. Welding has become an addiction; so excited to continue the process. #welding #millerwelds #millerwelders #aluminum
I just finished a batch of #americanflag (s). Two of the five pictured here are already sold, leaving three. Made of walnut, makore, and maple, and featuring a flush mount hanging system (no tilting like a standard picture frame). Finished to a polished surface using lacquer. If you are interested in purchasing one, please DM me. $350.00 shipped anywhere in the United States.
The unboxing of a new adventure. I'm on a quest to teach myself how to TIG weld, so, I made the investment in a machine that I'll be able to grow into. @bucket_of_bolts I'm coming for you 😉. #millerwelds #millerwelders #weld
My shop bleeds red, white, blue, and green today. A batch of flags is in the works.
Signed, sealed, and delivered this dining room table to a very patient client and friend today. Swipe right for other down and dirty shots. The machined center brass flange will accept a lazy-susan in the future. #woodwork #woodworking #table #diningroomtable #homedecor #walnut
This table is in the finishing stages and is progressing nicely. I fixed the problematic spot, highlighted in my last post, by adding a design detail to the corners. #woodworking #veneer #madeinamerica #generalfinishes #walnut #epoxy
Looking to the insta community for some suggestions on how to fix this: This is the corner detail of a dining room table. Where the solid walnut border meets the veneered center, the veneer has been compromised by careless sanding on my part. The black line is cast epoxy. I have a few ideas on a fix, but am open to further suggestions. If you think of something, anything, leave a comment and all ideas are appreciated. #veneer #woodworking #table

The Zamboni Machine paid a visit to my shop today. Second to last coat of poly/oil finish on these #americanflag wall adornments. For something so flat, making these is a painstakingly long process but the result is nice. #woodworking #madeinamerica #handtools #starsandstripes #maple #paduk #walnut
Out for delivery; 2 of 8 outdoor low-voltage transformer covers for the grounds of Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. Traditional mortise and tenon joinery was used for longevity and the panels have room to expand or contract with the seasons. #madeinamerica #woodworking #ojaivalleyinn #handtools #redwood #electrical #tacoma
